The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South West Zone team and GHMC food safety officer conducted raid on adulterated Mouth Fresheners (Mukhwas) manufacturing unit, situated at Chudi bazar, Hyderabad and arrested a person and seized huge quantity of adulterated mouth fresheners and other material total worth of property Rs 1,20,000 from his possession. Arrested person has been identified as Kamal Kishor Ojha (57), resident of Chudi Bazaar (Manufacturer and Supplier).

The Accused Kamal Kishor Ojha was found adulterating mouth fresheners by adding harmful synthetic colors and unauthorized sweeteners to enhance appearance and aroma. This was done without a valid license, violating FSSAI guidelines. The adulterated products were supplied to stores and hotels in the twin cities, putting lives at risk for personal profit. Consuming these unbranded mouth fresheners can lead to various health issues, said police.
