Hyd Mayor unhappy with garbage disposal wing

Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi was unhappy with the staff for not removing garbage Chandanagar, Miyapur, and Serilingampalli divisions. She expressed dissatisfaction with the Ramky organization for failing to clear garbage from Makta Pedda Right Pond, leading to poor sanitation and mosquito breeding.

She ordered immediate removal of garbage, proper sanitation measures, and clearance of construction and demolition (C&D) waste in the area.

The first citizen was accompanied by MLA Arikepudi Gandhi and ward members in inspections in Miyapur, Chandanagar and Serilingampalli wards on Tuesday. Some of the areas they visited include; Makta Pedakudi Cheruvu and Patel Cheruvu outlet near the MLA office, Miyapur Police Station Line and Bhavanipuram Nala, Lingampalli Railway Station R.U.B., Lingampalli Vegetable Market, Gopi Cheruvu, and Nallagandla Junction.

In Vishweshwara Colony, Chandanagar, the Mayor noted damaged roads and inadequate sanitation. She instructed the Zonal Commissioner to take immediate action to improve sanitation and repair roads. She also directed CE Bhaskar Reddy to prepare estimates for repairs and initiate works promptly, including construction of box drains at Patel Cheruvu/Bhavanipuram Nala.
