No differences in alliance: Minister

Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav on Thursday said that there was no difference among the alliance and the TDP, Jana Sena and BJP were working in close coordination. The Minister said that the three parties had contested the elections on a common agenda and were now governing together in line with the people’s mandate. He was speaking at the inauguration of a medical camp under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan at the Gannavaram community hospital in Krishna district.

He added that Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and BJP leaders wanted the coalition to last 15 to 20 years. Each party had its own responsibilities and was working with dedication for the state’s interests. He mocked former chief minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for waiting for cracks in the alliance “like a fox in a hen house.” The minister said Jana Sena was a key partner in the NDA and was participating in government programs under Kalyan’s leadership. The three parties were jointly focused on strengthening the government and fulfilling election promises.

Highlighting the “double-engine” government, Yadav said several prestige projects were moving ahead with Centre-state coordination, including flyovers and expressways in Vijayawada, Gannavaram airport expansion, AIIMS, funding for Amaravati, the Polavaram project and new central institutions. Road and transport connectivity was expanding and investment conditions were improving. On DSC recruitments, he challenged the YSRCP to produce evidence for its allegations and said the government was ready for a debate in the Assembly. Creating chaos instead of discussion would not solve problems, he said.

 More camps will be held in government hospitals. Proposals have been received to upgrade 60 hospitals; trauma care and a dialysis centre will be added at Gannavaram in the next budget.
