Andhra Pradesh Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty, NRI Empowerment Kondapalli Srinivas is attending the 18th "Pravasa Bharatiya Divas" program being held in Bhubaneswar on Thursday and Friday i.e. 9th and 10th of January on behalf of the state government.
Union Minister for External Affairs S Jaishankar has invited Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu to attend this meeting on behalf of the state government. As per the invitation of the Minister for External Affairs, the Chief Minister has directed Minister Kondapalli Srinivas to participate in this meeting on behalf of the state government.
The "Pravasa Bharatiya Divas" program, which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday morning, will be held for two days. The central government is organizing this program to unite all those of Indian origin living in different countries around the world and to discuss comprehensively the problems faced by people of Indian origin in those countries and find appropriate solutions. Many prominent NRIs from different countries around the world will attend these meetings.
Minister Srinivas said that this program will be very useful in bringing the problems faced by NRIs in different countries to the attention of the meeting and bringing together the NRIs, who are mostly of Indian origin living abroad.
