Rajya Sabha MP Vaddiraju Ravichandra has praised the efforts being made by the Telangana Districts Cricket Association (TDCA) towards developing rural cricket in the State. Ravichandra praised the efforts of TDCA founder chairman and former SAT chairman Allipuram Venkateswar Reddy, who has been working hard for the uplift of rural cricketers for many years.

Ravichandra inaugurated a one-day tournament being organized by TDCA with the America Under-17 Youth Academy (AYCA) team at Thondupalli in Shamshabad on Monday. Along with the AYCA team, Telangana Rural Risers, Panthers and Warriors teams are participating in the tournament.

Ravichandra urged all cricket lovers in the State to come together and show their support for TDCA, which is moving forward with the aim of developing neglected rural cricket. He said there are many talented cricketers in rural areas and to bring them to the limelight, there is a need to organize as many such tournaments as possible.
