From now on, all MPs in Parliament will be able to taste “Araku Coffee”. With the Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla giving his consent for setting up the “Araku” brand coffee stalls, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju on Monday inaugurated the stall in the Lok Sabha canteen. Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal inaugurated at the Rajya Sabha canteen.
Tribal Affairs Minister Joel Oram, Union Minister Rammohan Naidu, AP Tribal welfare, Women and Child Welfare Minister GummIdi Sandhyarani, TDP and BJP MPs were present on the occasion. The stalls were set up in parliament by the Andhra Pradesh Girijan Cooperative Corporation Ltd at Sangam 1 and 2 court yards where the MPs have breakfast .The stalls will be there from Monday, the 24th of March to 28th of March.
CM Chandrababu Naidu expressed happiness over the setting up of Araku coffee stalls in the Parliament premises. Taking to social media platform X, the Chief Minister thanked PM Modi for promoting araku coffee in his “Mann Ki Baat” and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla for allowing him to set up a stall in Parliament. ” This is a moment of pride for all of us, especially our tribal farmers, whose dedication and hard work have brewed Araku Coffee to the highest levels of national acclaim. As we enjoy each cup, let’s also remember their inspiring journey!” he tweeted in X
