MHG organised a medical outreach camp for veterans

A Medical Outreach Camp was organised at Golconda, Hyderabad on Saturday by Military Hospital Golconda under the aegis of HQ Telangana and Andhra Sub Area on Saturday to reach out to the Veterans retired from the Indian Armed Forces and their dependents.   

  The camp offered specialist treatment facilities were provided to the Veterans to include General medicines, Surgery, Ophthalmology, ENT, Dental, Orthopaedic, Gynaecology and Cardiology including various diagnostic facilities. Serving on the occasion, the Hyderabad Veterans’ Lions Club & Army College of Dental Services also participated with full zeal. The veterans were distributed with free medicines by HQ TASA.

Representing HQ Telangana and Andhra Sub Area, Brigadier SK Chetty interacted with the Veterans and promised all possible support towards providing quality health care. He reiterated the Indian Army's principle of reaching out to the veterans and being always present to address their concerns. He thanked all the veterans and acknowledged their service to the nation and society. Approximately 350 veterans and their dependents attended the outreach camp.
