The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South West Zone team, Hyderabad and Shahinayathgunj Police arrested a 55-year-old interstate drug peddler and a sub peddler who were found in the possession of narcotic substance ganja total weighing 6kgs in the limits of Shahinayathgunj Police station.
Arrested persons have been identified as R Bheem Singh, resident of RC Puram and Rakesh Singh (32), resident of Dhoolpet (Sub-Peddler). Police have seized 6kgs of ganja, Yamaha Cygnus bike, two mobile phones and net cash of Rs 10,500, total worth of seized property is about Rs 2,06,750.
R Bheem Singh is illiterate and he migrated to Hyderabad with his wife and two children in 2002 and settled in RC Puram. He started working as a daily laborer for their living. In 2018, Bheem Singh and one of his friends hatched a plan to do the ganja business. They purchased ganja from Nirmal district but were caught by the Nirmal police while returning. Both were arrested and sent to judicial custody.
Bheem Singh was released from jail after a month. Recently, Rakesh Singh got in touch with Bheem Singh through a mutual friend regarding the ganja trade.
Bheem Singh travelled to Jainoor, Asifabad, and procured 6kgs of ganja from known persons. On January 9, while Bheem Singh and Rakesh Singh travelling along with ganja in the limits of Shahinaythgunj, police arrested them.
