BJP MLA Raja Singh has made a controversial statement ahead of this year’s Sri Rama Navami Shobha Yatra, declaring that the procession will take place without seeking police permission. He alleged that last year’s yatra was cancelled due to pressure from AIMIM and stated that they will proceed this year regardless of official approval.
During his speech, Raja Singh urged Hindus to take a pledge to demolish Aurangzeb’s tomb and dispose of its remains in the sea. He called upon the Hindu community to appeal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to include in the BJP’s election manifesto a commitment to constructing grand temples in Kashi and Mathura and to officially declaring India a Hindu Rashtra (Hindu Nation).
He also claimed that after the construction of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir, certain political and religious groups were unhappy and referred to them as descendants of Aurangzeb, Babar, and Owaisi.
Furthermore, he accused Aurangzeb of destroying Hindu temples and constructing mosques in their place, stating that all such mosques should be demolished and replaced with temples.
