BC Ministers, MLAs from TG Cong to leave for Delhi today

Ministers Konda Surekha and Ponnam Prabhakar, along with Congress MLAs representing the Backward Classes, are set to travel to New Delhi on Tuesday evening to take part in a Maha Dharna. This demonstration is planned in the national capital on April 2 to advocate for a 42 percent reservation for Backward Classes.
The BC Welfare Organisations from Telangana are organising this Maha Dharna in response to a bill passed by the Telangana Legislative Assembly, which seeks to raise the BC reservations by 42 percent and urges that the legislation be approved by Parliament.
