Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer M. Ravichandra has directed officials to prepare a comprehensive plan to provide better accommodation facilities for the large number of devotees visiting Tirumala and Tirupati.

He reviewed the arrangements during a meeting held at the TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati on Wednesday. He stated that the present accommodation facilities are not sufficient for the growing number of devotees and asked officials to submit a detailed report for expansion, with special focus on Tirupati.

In view of the summer heat, he instructed that regular water sprinkling be carried out on Mada streets, temple surroundings and other key areas in Tirumala.

The EO also directed officials to collect feedback from devotees and improve services accordingly. He suggested implementing QR code-based feedback systems in all TTD temples. He asked officials to plan for new godowns to increase storage capacity for ghee and raw materials, and to clear pending solid waste at the earliest. He also instructed for modernisation of PAC-1 and Asthana Mandapams.
