On the occasion of the birth anniversary of India's freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister M Ravichandra, Principal Secretary of General Administration Department Mukesh Kumar Meena and CM’s secretaries A V Rajamouli and Pradyumna paid floral tributes to the portrait of Netaji Subhaschandra Bose at the state secretariat on Thursday.

They mentioned that Subhash Chandra Bose was a great freedom fighter who believed that armed struggle was the only method for driving out the Englishmen who were then seen as slaves of Indians from our country.

They praised Netaji saying that he gave up a prestigious Civil Services Job without thinking twice to free the country from the bondage of slavery. The Chief Secretary also mentioned that at the time of Second World War, Netaji founded the ‘Indian National Army’ with the help of Indians living abroad for the purpose of fighting against the Britishers. Officials and staff of various departments of the state secretariat participated in the event.
