Nara Lokesh participates in Guru Vaibhavotsavam at Mantralayam

Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education and IT, Nara Lokesh, reiterated his commitment to preventing migration from the Rayalaseema region. He made this statement while attending the Guru Vaibhavotsavam celebrations at the Sri Raghavendra Swamy temple in Mantralayam, Kurnool district. Lokesh visited the temple and participated in the 404th Paduka Pattabhisheka Mahotsavam, presided over by Sri Subudhendra Tirtha Swamy, the head of the monastery.

During the event, Nara Lokesh expressed his devotion, stating, “Sri Raghavendra Swamy is known for fulfilling the wishes of his devotees. I feel honored to take part in these grand celebrations. Our coalition government is committed to ensuring the happiness and prosperity of the people. We are working tirelessly to prevent migration from Rayalaseema and wish for good rainfall in the region.”

Following the ceremony, Sri Subudhendra Tirtha Swamy honored Lokesh with a shawl and presented him with a memento as a token of appreciation. The minister was accorded a traditional welcome with a Poornakumbha upon his arrival at the temple. Before the main event, Lokesh also visited the Manchalamma Temple, where he performed special prayers and sought divine blessings.

After attending the Paduka Pattabhisheka Mahotsavam, Minister Nara Lokesh took part in the Rathotsavam at the temple. Amidst a large gathering of devotees and the sounds of Mangala Vadyam, he helped pull the temple chariot, chanting the name of Sri Raghavendra Swamy. The temple premises echoed with devotional fervor.

As part of his visit, Lokesh also inaugurated a newly constructed shopping complex within the temple premises. Several prominent political leaders and officials accompanied him, including Kurnool TDP president Palakurthi Tikkareddy, Kurnool MP Bastipati Nagaraju, Pattikonda MLA K.E. Shyam Babu, Mantralayam TDP in-charge N. Raghavendra Reddy, MLC B.T. Naidu, KUDA Chairman Somishetti Venkateshwarlu, former MLA Meenakshi Naidu, and other district officials.
