Literature has the power to change lives: Dr. Mamidi Harikrishna

Telangana Language and Culture department Director Dr. Mamidi Harikrishna said “Literature has the strength to change lives. It is eternal and indestructible. My mentor, Ganta Ramareddy, played a significant role in shaping my journey.”

A grand literary gathering was held at Ravindra Bharathi under the aegis of the Telangana Language and Culture department to discuss the works of renowned writer Ganta Rajani (Aishwarya) Reddy. Addressing the gathering, Dr Mamidi Harikrishna lauded Rajani Reddy for amassing a readership of over two million through her online publications and highlighted the growing influence of Telugu literature on social media platforms.

Speaking at the event, veteran writer Ganta Ramareddy praised Rajani’s ability to craft compelling titles for her works and expressed hope that she would continue to create impactful literature that benefits society. Renowned poet Peravali Sudhakar Sharma commended the writer for balancing family responsibilities while making valuable literary contributions.

Another writer Rapolu Satyanarayana remarked that “once a reader starts one of her novels, it becomes impossible to put it down. Her storytelling flows like a seamless stream.” Literary figures such as Vemula Sai Charan, Deepak Nyathi, Gajavelli Satyanarayana, Lode Ramulu, and Gali Reddy extended their appreciation for Rajani Reddy’s writings and encouraged her to continue producing thought-provoking work.

In her address, Ganta Rajani Reddy stressed the role of writers and artists in serving society. “Women continue to face numerous challenges, and my writings strive to reflect their struggles. I owe my success to the unwavering support of my family,” she stated. Expressing gratitude to the esteemed guests, literary scholars, and well-wishers present, the writer concluded the event on a note of appreciation and inspiration.
