The Indian Meteorological department- Hyderabad (IMD-H) has issued a cold wave alert for Telangana for the next 2 days. The IMD-H has forecast cold wave conditions will prevail in several regions of Telangana, with minimum temperatures expected to hover between 2 degrees Celsius and 4 degrees Celsius.
The IMD has issued a special warning for Nirmal, Adilabad, and Komaram Bheem Asifabad districts, with minimum temperatures expected to drop to 5-10 degrees Celsius.
Mist or hazy conditions are very likely to prevail during the morning hours at isolated pockets across Telangana over the next five days. Additionally, minimum temperatures are expected to be below normal by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius during the next three days.
The lowest minimum temperature of 8.8 degrees Celsius was recorded at the University of Hyderabad campus in Serilingampally mandal and at the BHEL Factory in Ramachandrapuram. Rajendranagar experienced a minimum temperature of 9.4 degrees Celsius, while Moula Ali in Uppal mandal recorded a minimum of 9.6 degrees Celsius
