TG aims to develop AI City: Sridhar Babu

D. Sridhar Babu, the Minister of Information Technology, Communications, Industries, and Commerce, Government of Telangana said that Telangana has ambitious plans for the development of an AI City and Quantum Computing Hubs.

He was speaking at the inaugurated Phase III of the state-of-the-art facilities at Centillion Networks and HC Robotics Pvt. Ltd on Friday. Expressing hope that Centillion Networks would lead by its presence in these transformative initiatives.

He also highlighted the Telangana Government’s efforts in initiating the setup of the first Frontier Labs in India which would include companies operating in various domains like Drones, Blockchain technology. The event marked a significant milestone in the companies’ journey, showcasing their rapid growth and technological advancements.

The Minister highlighted Centillion's impressive growth trajectory, expanding from just four employees to a remarkable 1,800 in a few short years.

Recognizing their contribution to employment generation, particularly in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities and remote districts of Telangana, he underscored the need for an even larger campus to accommodate Centillion's expanding team of technocrats in the future.

During his visit, Mr. Sridhar Babu emphasized the potential of drone technology to revolutionize service delivery across industries. He applauded Centillion and HC Robotics for their pioneering work in this domain, positioning Telangana as a hub for drone innovation.

The Minister toured the AI, Drone, and Gimbal Camera divisions of HC Robotics, personally interacting with developers and technicians to learn about the latest advancements in these cutting-edge technologies.

Sridhar Babu congratulated the teams at Centillion Networks and HC Robotics for their remarkable achievements, technological prowess, and rapid progress.

He extended his best wishes for their continued success and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting innovative enterprises that drive economic growth and technological innovation in Telangana.
