The Akshaya Patra has recently partnered with HUDCO and Franklin Templeton Services (India) Private Limited. HUDCO extended its support to The Akshaya Patra Foundation by Sponsoring state-of-the-art kitchen equipment and electric vehicles valued at Rs 88 lakhs, this generous contribution includes five rice steamers, two multifunctional peelers, one tamarind pulp machine, and three electric vehicles.

The inauguration event was attended by PV Reddy, Executive Director, HUDCO, along with Ashish and Syed Rahimuddin, Junior General Managers. The Akshaya Patra Foundation also received a new meal distribution vehicle sponsored by Franklin Templeton India.

The vehicle is expected to transport approximately 2,500 meals daily, ensuring that over 5,80,000 meals reach school children across Hyderabad. Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa, Trustee and President, The Akshaya Patra Foundation Telangana and Andhra Pradesh said, ‘We are immensely grateful for the support of HUDCO and Franklin Templeton Foundation.
