Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu today performed the Bhumi Puja for his new residence in Amaravati, marking a deeply symbolic and emotional moment for the Nara family and the state’s capital development efforts. The ceremony took place at 8:51 a.m. amid Vedic chants and rituals performed by priests.

The event was attended by close family members, including Nara Bhuvaneswari, son Nara Lokesh, daughter-in-law Brahmani, and grandson Devaansh. Several members from the extended Nara and Nandamuri families were also present, adding significance to the occasion.

The residence will be constructed on a 5-acre plot located adjacent to E9 Road, behind the Secretariat in the Velagapudi Revenue Zone, within Amaravati's core capital area. The proposed house is part of a larger compound that will include a conference hall and a dedicated parking area.

The home itself is planned in a G+1 (Ground plus One) design, spanning an area of 1,455 square yards, and will reflect both modern architectural elements and traditional aesthetics. The project has been entrusted to SRR Constructions, a reputed firm with experience in large-scale development works.
