‘Unfortunate that youth are getting trapped in the guise of love’

AP Home Minister Anitha said on Thursday that it was unfortunate that the youth are falling prey to the guise of love and are being jailed for their mistakes in anger. She was speaking after inaugurating a program titled 'Together for Women's Safety' in Visakhapatnam organized by the police department. She mentioned that in POCSO cases, 20 per cent of the accused are below the age of 20 years and added that awareness programs on the POCSO Act are being conducted in all schools.

The Home Minister explained that self-discipline will be included in the lessons as a subject. She said that the 'Together for Women's Safety' program will be conducted in all parts of the state .She suggested that the youth should think for 100 years of life and everyone should get into the habit of self-control. The Home Minister also said that one needs to think for a moment for the parents who are constantly working hard for us. She said that cannabis will destroy the future of the youth and urged them not to put their lives in trouble.
