The 10th edition of Hyderabad Tyagaraja Aradhana Music Festival (HTAMF) 2025 ended on a musical note

The 10th edition of Hyderabad Tyagaraja Aradhana Music Festival (HTAMF) 2025 concluded on Sunday with a tribute to the Sadhguru. Shilparamam reverberated with the soulful resonance of Pancharatna Goshti Gaanam. Nearly 500 to 700 artistes came together to participate in this grand musical tribute Tyagaraja’s ghana raga Pancharatna Kritis in unison (vocal and instrumental).

Early in the morning, the traditional procession of Unchavruti with Nagara Sankirtana was performed. Sanskriti Foundation also felicitated renowned Carnatic Violinist, Nadasudharnava, Dr Sri Annavarapu Ramaswamy and highlighted his contributions in training many artists who are carrying forward the legacy of Carnatic music. Governor Jishnu Deb Barman led the felicitation ceremony.

The evening concluded with a vocal concert by ‘Priya Sisters’ Vidushi Shanmukapriya and Vidushi Haripriya which received a standing ovation from the gathering. They were accompanied by Vidwan K V Krishna (Violin), Vidwan Kotipalli Rames (Mridangam), and Vidwan K Shyam Kumar (Kanjira). The esteemed guests for the day included Telangana Governor, Intercontinental Group Chairman C.L. Rajam, Silicon Andhra University Founder Anand Kuchibhotla, Mamidi Harikrishna (Director, Department of Language and Culture), and Padma Shri Mridangam Vidwan Yella Venkateswara Rao. 

A highlight of the event was the felicitation of the centenarian Padma Shri Violin Vidwan Annavarapu Ramaswamy Garu with the prestigious Guru Sanmaanam, honoring his immense contributions to the world of music.
