TGO leaders meet excise officials, urge action on key issues

The Telangana Gazetted Officers' Association (TGO) leadership met with Excise Commissioner C. Hari Kiran IAS and Additional Commissioner S.Y. Khureshi to discuss 17 major concerns affecting Excise Department employees. Led by TGO President Eluri Srinivas Rao and General Secretary A. Satyanarayana, the delegation aimed to secure solutions for critical workplace challenges. 

The meeting, attended by key representatives, focused on general transfers, pending promotions, amendments to service rules, and occupational hazard insurance. Officials urged timely resolutions, particularly in creating an insurance agreement with State Bank to protect employees working in high-risk environments. 

Excise Commissioner Hari Kiran, IAS assured the delegation that transfers and promotions would be completed by the end of the month, while other demands would be escalated to higher authorities for necessary approvals. He reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring the welfare and improved working conditions of Excise Department employees.
