Vignan's University in Deshmukhi, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District, hosted the state-level technical symposium “TechSpark-2k26” on Tuesday, organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in collaboration with the Computer Society of India. Held under the theme “Igniting Ideas. Engineering the Future,” the event drew enthusiastic participation from students of 15 educational institutions across Telangana.
The symposium featured a variety of competitions designed to test technical skills and creativity, including Project Expo, Paper Presentation, Coding Contest, Technical Quiz, Technical Debate, Poster Making, and Treasure Hunt. Cash prizes worth approximately ₹40,000 and certificates of appreciation were awarded to students demonstrating exceptional talent. The event aimed to unearth hidden creativity and raise awareness about emerging technological innovations.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Dr. Srinivasa Rao Kosiganti emphasized that true growth comes from knowledge sharing and continuous learning. He encouraged students to focus on research, innovation, and problem-solving, noting that India’s prominence in science depends on a strong foundation in fundamentals and perseverance. He urged students not to fear failure but to use setbacks as learning opportunities to meet global technological demands.
Prof. Y.V. Daseswara Rao highlighted the university’s commitment to holistic student development. He said symposiums like TechSpark-2k26 offer a platform for students to apply theoretical knowledge practically, nurture creativity, and contribute to societal progress through innovation. The event saw participation from faculty members, department heads, and students, reinforcing a culture of technical excellence and collaborative learning.
