ASHA workers’ issues to be reviewed

District Additional Collector Faizan Ahmed assured that the grievances of ASHA workers in Medchal–Malkajgiri district will be examined and addressed.

On Tuesday, he met protesting ASHA workers at the District Collectorate and said their concerns would be brought to the notice of the District Collector for resolution. He added that unresolved issues would also be escalated to the state government with special focus to ensure timely action.

Ahmed said he would hold discussions with the District Medical and Health Officer to resolve the issues in accordance with established rules and regulations. He encouraged the workers to present their grievances directly, assuring them of prompt attention.

The ASHA workers welcomed the response and submitted a representation outlining their demands and concerns.
