Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced that all nominated posts in the government will be filled by June 2025. Speaking during a teleconference with TDP leaders, including MLAs, MPs, ministers, and party in-charges, Naidu stressed the importance of rewarding long-standing party workers over recent entrants from other parties.
Naidu called on leaders to prioritize those who have stood by the party from the beginning and contributed to its growth. He clarified that it is the responsibility of MLAs to ensure that positions are allocated only to dedicated party members. The Chief Minister revealed plans to complete the appointments for 214 agricultural market committees and 1,100 temple trust boards in the coming months.
Naidu announced that the government would review the performance of individuals appointed to nominated posts after two years. This evaluation will influence future opportunities and decisions regarding their roles. He emphasized that only those who actively contribute to the party's organizational structure will be considered for such positions.
Highlighting the importance of grassroots involvement, Naidu outlined that individuals seeking positions in agricultural market committees and temple trust boards must be members of the party’s CUBS framework - Cluster, Unit, Booth, and Section. Leaders were directed to send appropriate proposals for appointments, ensuring that hardworking party workers and leaders receive due recognition.
During the teleconference, Naidu reviewed the government’s performance over the past seven months, highlighting the implementation of numerous schemes and developmental programs. He instructed party leaders to actively communicate these achievements to the public while countering the false propaganda of the YSR Congress Party.
“Our success in the recent elections was the result of relentless efforts by party workers over the past five years,” Naidu stated, urging leaders to maintain strong connections with workers and the public. He warned against complacency, stressing that leaders must avoid adopting an “election is over, my job is done” attitude.
Naidu reiterated his vision of securing victory in the 2029 elections, stating that every leader and worker must work with dedication to achieve this goal.He assured that all pending issues, such as NREGA payments and other schemes, would be addressed promptly. With a clear focus on rewarding loyalty and hard work, Naidu's message underscores the TDP’s commitment to fostering accountability, transparency, and inclusive governance.
