Former Minister and ex-MLA from Wanaparthy Singireddy Niranjan Reddy has sharply criticized the Telangana government in a letter addressed to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. During a press conference, Niranjan Reddy elaborated on the contents of his letter, focusing mainly on the Rythu Bharosa scheme—a key farmer welfare program. He alleged that despite reports of Rs 9,000 crore being available, the government has failed to disburse support for three consecutive seasons.

He pointed to practical hardships faced by farmers, such as crops drying up due to delayed electricity supply and shortages of urea, as clear signs of governmental inefficiency. The former minister also highlighted the unresolved Sridhar Reddy murder case, which has lingered for over two and a half years.  On irrigation, he accused the government of neglecting key projects. The Ramanna Gattu Reservoir, with a capacity of 2 TMC, has seen no progress since its foundation stone was laid, he lamented.

Niranjan Reddy addressed the proposed construction of Young India School, clarifying that he is not opposed to the institution itself but strongly objects to its location within the Medical College campus. He also called for the immediate revival of a semi-circular bypass road project.
