Ministers Ponnam, Seethakka to attend Chintan Shivir at Dehradun

Telangana Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Seethakka are set to participate in the Chintan Shivir program focused on social justice and empowerment.

This event is slated to take place in Dehradun on April 7 and 8, with Union Minister for Social Justice Dr. Virendra Kumar presiding over it. Ministers representing Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, and Scheduled Tribes from various states across India will join the Chintan Shivir.

During the program, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar will discuss the initiatives undertaken by the Backward Classes department, including the 42 percent reservation in political and educational jobs for Backward Classes.

In a similar vein, Minister Seethakka will address the government's initiatives aimed at the welfare and development of the elderly, disabled individuals, and transgender persons in Telangana, as well as related schemes and issues.

Seethakka will also emphasize that achieving social justice requires enhanced cooperation between the central and state governments.
