Leadership traits should be nurtured in students from the school level itself, as this lays the foundation for developing socially aware and responsible leaders, said Minister for IT and Industries Duddilla Sridhar Babu.

He was speaking as the chief guest at the "Leadership Day–2025" event organized at Glendale Academy, Sun City, here on Saturday.

In his address, the Minister emphasized that schools play a crucial role in shaping the character and personality of individuals. He urged parents and teachers to recognize that life is not solely defined by academic grades and encouraged them to support children in discovering and nurturing their talents in areas they are genuinely passionate about.

Sridhar Babu stressed that every child possesses unique abilities and cautioned against creating pressure by comparing them with others.

Drawing inspiration from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s words, he advised students to set ambitious goals early in life and to pursue them with relentless dedication. The Minister also encouraged them to develop the habit of learning something new every day. Highlighting the rapid evolution of technology, Sridhar Babu called for innovative thinking and creativity in today’s educational environment.
