The government is set to construct a state-of-the-art 100-bed hospital in Chinakakani, Mangalagiri, aiming to make it one of the best healthcare facilities in the country. Minister for Education and IT, Nara Lokesh, has directed officials to ensure the hospital meets the highest standards of medical infrastructure and service quality.
During a review meeting at his Undavalli residence, Minister Lokesh examined the hospital’s architectural blueprint alongside senior officials. A PowerPoint presentation was given to provide insights into the proposed hospital structure.
The Minister emphasized that the long-standing 30-year dream of Mangalagiri residents must be realized through a well-equipped, modern hospital that serves as a model facility for the nation.
“The 100-bed facility should set a benchmark in healthcare. It must be built with advanced amenities and designed in a way that ensures a peaceful environment for medical professionals. The primary focus should be on providing the best possible medical care to patients,” said Minister Lokesh.
He instructed officials to create a hospital layout that minimizes inconvenience to patients while providing a seamless experience for doctors, visitors, and medical staff. He also suggested incorporating elements from renowned hospital designs to refine the facility’s structure. Special emphasis was placed on integrating modern amenities such as parking, mortuary services, and other critical infrastructure while keeping future expansion needs in mind.
The meeting was attended by APMSIDC (Andhra Pradesh Medical Services & Infrastructure Development Corporation) CEO G. Sudhakar Reddy, SE V. Chittibabu, EE C.V. Ramana, Bhargav Group Chief Architect Nikhila, APMSIDC DEE M. Hanumantharao Naik, AE G. Gopichand, AE K. Shiva Satyanarayana, Bhargav Group DGM A. Shyam Kishore, Senior Engineer D. Anil Kumar, and other key officials. The discussions aimed at finalizing the design and execution plans to ensure the hospital meets world-class healthcare standards.
