In preparation for the upcoming Keesaragutta Brahmotsavam on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, Rachakonda Police Commissioner Sudheer Babu, conducted a coordination meeting with civil, traffic, and other departmental officials and staff involved in bandobust (security arrangements). The meeting aimed to ensure that the event proceeds peacefully without any untoward incidents and that devotees face no inconveniences.
During the meeting, the Commissioner instructed officials to be vigilant and take necessary precautions to avoid any security lapses, given the large influx of devotees expected during Brahmotsavam. He emphasized the importance of ensuring a smooth experience for all, including public representatives, VIPs, and common devotees, with special attention to women, children, and the elderly.
The Commissioner urged the officials and staff involved in bandobust duties to perform their assigned tasks with utmost care and remain alert until the conclusion of the Brahmotsavam. He highlighted the need for the medical team to be on standby and to have an ambulance and essential medicines, including those for blood pressure and sugar emergencies. The well-being of both the devotees and the police personnel on duty is equally important, the Commissioner noted.
He directed officials to ensure the availability of necessary medicines for police personnel receiving special medical treatment. Safe drinking water and ORS packets should be widely accessible to prevent sunstroke, considering the summer heat. Additionally, he instructed the relevant authorities to maintain proper sanitation arrangements and set up mobile toilets specifically for women.
