Collector registers detail in self-enumeration

In line with the launch of the digital self-enumeration process for the upcoming Census 2027 across the district, District Collector Rahul Sharma personally registered his details online through the Self-Enumeration (Swīya Gaṇana) mode from his residence on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, the Collector informed that the Self-Enumeration process will continue from April 26 to May 10. He said that registering details online by oneself will save valuable time for the public and urged all citizens to make use of this convenient facility.

The Collector further stated that enumerators will visit every household starting from May 11 to collect the required information. He advised those who complete self-enumeration to keep their generated Self-Enumeration ID ready and provide it to the enumerator during their visit. He also requested everyone who registers online to safely preserve their ID number. Collector Rahul Sharma appealed to all people in the district to participate responsibly in the Census process and make it a grand success.
