Chief Minister Revanth Reddy emphasized welfare and development as the government's twin priorities in the District Collectors conference held on Friday . Revanth announced that he would conduct surprise visits to districts after January 26 to assess the implementation of key welfare schemes and governance efficiency. He emphasized the importance of grassroots-level execution of government initiatives and warned of strict action against negligence or inefficiency.

The Collectors' meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Along with the CM, Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka and Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, D Sridhar Babu, Ponnam Prabhakar, Seethakka, Konda Surekha, and Jupally Krishna Rao participated in the meeting.

Discussions were held on the implementation of Rythu Bharosa, Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa, Ration Cards, Indiramma Indlu schemes and identification and preparation of beneficiary lists

It has been decided to implement Rythu Bharosa and Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa schemes from January 26 (Republic Day).

CM instructed the collectors to identify ineligible beneficiaries under the Rythu Bharosa scheme and at the same time ensuring that only landless agricultural laborers benefit from Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa.

Rythu Bharosa benefits must be strictly provided to agricultural lands only. He directed officials to exclude non-agricultural lands from the scheme and emphasized a meticulous verification process.

"Rythu Bharosa should be given to every acre of agricultural land, regardless of whether crops are cultivated. However, lands unsuitable for farming, such as real estate plots, layouts, nala-converted lands, mining areas, warehouse sites, or government-acquired project lands, must be identified and excluded," the CM said.

He instructed collectors to consolidate records from gram panchayats, municipalities, revenue departments, and other relevant agencies. The finalized list of non-agricultural lands must be displayed and discussed in Gram Sabhas to ensure transparency and prevent misunderstandings.

"This process must leave no room for doubts or confusion," Revanth Reddy added, emphasizing the need for accuracy and fairness in implementing the scheme.

The CM announced the implementation of the "One Ration, One State" policy to streamline ration distribution. He urged preparation for the launch of key welfare schemes on January 26 and mandated collectors to finalize beneficiary lists with ministerial approval.

Revanth Reddy instructed IAS and IPS officers to visit hostels monthly, stay overnight, and inspire students, ensuring welfare schemes reach grassroots levels. He reiterated the importance of field visits and directed collectors to address issues effectively at the ground level.

CM’s initiatives for tribal welfare

CM Revanth Reddy announced several welfare measures for tribal communities during a meeting with tribal leaders and organizations at the Secretariat. Key initiatives include officially observing Komaram Bheem’s birth and death anniversaries, withdrawing movement-related cases against tribals, and providing 100% overship scholarships to tribal students. The CM promised quarterly meetings with tribal leaders and directed a comprehensive report on teaching in the Gondi language.

Revanth Reddy announced the establishment of a dedicated study circle for tribal students, filling vacant teaching posts in tribal colleges, and prioritizing skill development. He assured solar pump sets for tribal farmers, housing under a special CM quota, and improved drinking water facilities.

Funds were allocated for the Keslapur Jathara, and plans for constructing "Rayi Centers" in tribal areas were discussed. The CM emphasized inclusive development and urged leaders to bring issues to his notice instead of resorting to protests.
