State Census Director Bharati Holikere has directed officials to conduct the upcoming 2027 Census with complete transparency and accuracy. On Monday, the State Census Director, along with Hanumakonda District Collector Chahat Bajpai, visited the Excise Colony area in Hanumakonda and inspected the ongoing field-level house listing, digital mapping and house registration process. During the visit, Holikere reviewed the work being carried out by enumerators and supervisors who are visiting door-to-door to collect data.

She examined the collection of family member details, housing information, area-wise registration, and the use of digital devices. She issued several instructions to the officials. The Director emphasized that data pertaining to any area must be recorded accurately based on the families residing there. She stated that every piece of information collected during the census is crucial for national planning and development.

She instructed enumerators to collect complete and correct information while behaving politely with the public and to ensure there are no errors or omissions in the data. Speaking on the occasion, district Collector Chahat Bajpai said that continuous monitoring is being done to ensure the census process is carried out efficiently in the district. She added that staff are being given field-level training and that house listing and digital mapping are being implemented transparently.
