Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has said the Telangana government is committed to transforming Hyderabad into a world-class city on a par with the most developed cities across the globe and positioning the state among the fastest-growing in the country.

Bhatti Vikramarka said the real estate and construction sectors play a vital role in the development of Hyderabad and the state's economic growth. The government considers those associated with these sectors not merely as businesspeople but as wealth creators and partners in development, he added.

Speaking at the NAREDCO Telangana Property Show held at HITEX in Hyderabad on Friday, Bhatti Vikramarka said Hyderabad enjoys several advantages over other major cities in the country. Recognized as one of the most liveable cities, Hyderabad continues to attract people from across the country who wish to settle here. The present government is committed to further strengthening and expanding the infrastructure developed by previous governments, while giving priority to comprehensive urban development, he said.

The Deputy Chief Minister revealed that the government had drawn up a comprehensive development action plan involving an investment of approximately Rs 84,790 crore for Hyderabad and its surrounding areas. Of this, designs and tendering processes have already been initiated for works worth nearly Rs 55,000 crore, while several other projects are at various stages of implementation, he said.

R. Venkateswara Rao, Secretary General, NAREDCO Telangana said, "Whether visitors are exploring their first home, looking to upgrade, evaluating investment opportunities, or considering commercial real estate, the Property Show offers something for every requirement and budget. With a wide range of projects and financing options available under one roof, attendees have an opportunity to compare offerings and make well-informed decisions."
