Yoga Unites Souls, Hope Breathes Across Resilient Maharashtra

International Yoga Day on Sunday witnessed a powerful blend of wellness and social impact as Divyaj Foundation hosted a grand yoga and meditation programme at NSCI Dome, Worli. Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha praised Narendra Modi for elevating yoga to global prominence, calling it a defining moment for India’s cultural identity.  He described Devendra Fadnavis as Maharashtra’s “Yoga Guru,” crediting his balanced and visionary leadership for the state’s continued rogress. Amruta Fadnavis was lauded for leading Divyaj Foundation’s wide-ranging social initiatives in education, healthcare, women empowerment and skill development.   

The event welcomed over 700 children from farmer-suicide-affected families, spreading hope, confidence and healing through yoga and meditation. Social workers, volunteers and citizens from diverse fields also attended, reinforcing the message of holistic wellness, compassion and inclusive development for a stronger Maharashtra.  The programme also highlighted yoga’s growing role in promoting mental resilience, emotional balance and healthier community living across generations.
