Hyderabad Cybercrime Police apprehended 25-year-old accused person in job fraud case on Thursday. The accused has been identified as Bandi Ajay Kumar, native of Kadapa. He has cheated the innocent job aspirants promising to facilitate IT Jobs in MNCs by posting fake job availability through telegram groups.
A male victim, who is residing in DD Colony in Amberpet lodged a complaint stating that he received a job offer message on Telegram on February 17, 2025. The complainant was contacted by Bandi Ajay Kumar via WhatsApp. He claimed to be a job consultant and offered a job in Accenture with a Rs 6 lakh package.
Trusting him, the complainant transferred a total amount of Rs 2,00,000 and later realized that he had been cheated. Based on his complaint, a case was registered. Police have seized one mobile phone, one laptop, four bank Passbooks, three Cheque books and two debit cards from the arrested persons.
