Workshop on maternal, neonatal critical care held at Yashoda

To enhance awareness and clinical preparedness in managing maternal emergencies and neonatal critical care, Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City organized a two-day national medical conference and workshop titled “Maternal Emergencies & Neonatal Critical Care – Real Case, Real Decisions” on March 14 and 15, 2026, at the auditorium of the hospital. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. G. S. Rao, Managing Director of Yashoda Hospitals said that rapid decision-making and strong coordination between multiple medical specialties are crucial in managing maternal and neonatal emergencies. 

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Lokesh Lingappa, Senior Child & Adolescent Neurologist at Yashoda Hospitals emphasized the importance of timely diagnosis and specialized care in neonatal neurological conditions. Additionally, hands-on workshops were conducted to enhance practical skills and train doctors in responding effectively to emergency situations. Experts noted that such academic initiatives serve as an important platform for improving the quality of maternal and neonatal emergency care, ultimately contributing to better healthcare outcomes for mothers and newborns.
