PCC Vice-President and Sanathnagar Assembly constituency Congress in-charge Dr. Kota Neelima on Tuesday emphasized the need for a transparent and error-free Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, urging officials to promptly address voter grievances and ensure no eligible citizen is excluded.

She inspected the ongoing revision at Patigadda Model Market in Begumpet Division and later visited the GHMC help desk at BK Guda, Hyderabad. During her review, she interacted with Deputy Commissioner Sujatha and other election officials to assess implementation, progress, and public response.

Dr. Neelima highlighted the importance of awareness campaigns to prevent confusion among citizens regarding the revision process. She stressed that officials must guarantee accuracy, transparency, and timely disposal of voter-related issues so the exercise concludes without errors.

She appealed to voters to carefully verify their details in the electoral list and immediately report discrepancies or missing entries. Citizens whose names are absent should approach authorities with valid documents to complete enrollment promptly.

Further, she instructed officials to take precautions to avoid mistakes in data entry and ensure every eligible voter is properly included. She emphasized the need for adequate support systems so citizens can update or correct details without difficulty.

Local leaders and party workers also joined the inspection programme across Begumpet and nearby divisions, reinforcing the Congress party’s commitment to safeguarding voter rights and ensuring a fair electoral process.
