Visvesvaraya College of Engineering & Technology (VCET) near Ibrahimpatnam has launched the “Finishing School for Employability” program with the aim of strengthening students’ technical capabilities and preparing them for the demands of the job market. The initiative is sponsored by Infosys Foundation, implemented by ICT Academy and hosted by VCET. The program focuses on bridging the gap between classroom learning and industry expectations by exposing students to emerging technologies as well as professional skills.
Training will cover Microsoft Azure AI, Data Analytics, AWS Cloud, UiPath Robotic Process Automation, Microsoft Power BI, Java Development, Python Web Development, UI Development, Test Engineering, Robotics & Automation and skills. The initiative is part of ICT Academy’s broader employability-focused program supported by Infosys Foundation, to equip students with relevant career-readiness capabilities.
VCET Secretary K. Lakshminarayana, Treasurer B. Srinivas Reddy, Vice-Principal D. R. K. Sharma, Placement Officer Dr Joga Jayaprakash Reddy and ICT Academy State Head B. Gopal urged students to make full use of the opportunity to develop skills that can strengthen their transition from college to employment.
