Jason Statham reunites with Guy Ritchie for Dogfight 

Hollywood action star Jason Statham is reuniting with British filmmaker Guy Ritchie for their seventh film, Dogfight, which is set in the London criminal underworld. Announced by an OTT platform, the movie is described as a “stylish revenge actioner”. Other plot details are not available for now.

Production is due to commence in early 2027, with filming taking place in the UK. Ritchie will write, direct and co-produce the film. Dogfight is the latest in the long-standing collaboration between the actor-director. 

Blockbuster collabs

Statham made his acting debut with Ritchie’s 1998 directorial debut Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. They also worked on Snatch, Revolver, Wrath of Man and Operation Fortune: Rose de Guerre.

Action thriller

They are also collaborating on Viva La Madness, which is based on J.J. Connolly’s novel and the author’s sequel to Layer Cake which was adapted into the 2004 film by Matthew Vaughn. Principal photography wrapped up earlier this year.
