The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the final results of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024, one of the most prestigious and eagerly awaited competitive exams in the country. The announcement was made on Tuesday, bringing clarity to lakhs of aspirants across India who had been awaiting the outcome with great anticipation.

A total of 1,009 candidates have been recommended for appointment to various civil services, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS), among others. The distribution of successful candidates across different categories includes 335 from General, 109 from EWS (Economically Weaker Sections), 318 from OBC, 160 from SC, and 87 from ST categories. The recruitment drive spans over 25 elite services under the Central Government, filling more than a thousand vacancies.

The selection process began with the Preliminary Examination conducted on June 16, 2024, followed by the declaration of results on July 1. Qualified candidates proceeded to the Mains Examination held from September 20 to 29, with results announced in December. A total of 2,845 candidates cleared the Mains and were shortlisted for the Personality Test (Interview) phase, held in two sessions from January 7 to April 17, 2025, in New Delhi.

Candidates from the Telugu states have made a notable mark in the 2024 results, securing top ranks and drawing praise from state leadership. Sai Shivani secured an All India Rank (AIR) 11, while Banna Venkatesh followed closely with AIR 15. Other high-ranking achievers from the region include:

Andhra Pradesh Minister for Revenue, Registration, and Stamps Anagani Satyaprasad extended heartfelt congratulations to all successful Telugu candidates. In particular, he lauded the exceptional performances of Sai Shivani and Banna Venkatesh, offering them special commendations for their high ranks.

Minister Satyaprasad expressed hope that all selected candidates would complete their training successfully and serve the public with distinction and dedication in the years ahead.
