Telangana Rising delegation concludes Japan Tour

The official visit of the Telangana Rising delegation to Japan, led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, has concluded successfully. The high-level meetings and strategic partnerships forged during the tour have resulted in significant investment commitments amounting to Rs 12,062 crore and the potential creation of approximately 30,500 jobs in Telangana.

Key outcomes from the visit include: Marubeni Corporation signed an MoU to establish a Next-Generation Industrial Park in Hyderabad's Future City. The project will begin with an initial investment of Rs 1,000 crore, with a projected total investment of Rs 5,000 crore and the creation of 30,000 jobs.

NTT Data and NEC Corporation (Neysa) agreed to invest Rs 10,500 crore in setting up an Artificial Intelligence Data Center Cluster in Hyderabad, enhancing the state’s digital infrastructure.

Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems India (TTDI) committed Rs.562 crore to establish a manufacturing unit for electrical equipment and components in Rudraram. TOMCOM, in partnership with TERN and Raj Group, signed an agreement for the recruitment of 500 Indian workers in Japan.

CM offers floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi in Hiroshima

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, who is on a visit to Japan, on Tuesday offered floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi in Hiroshima. Reddy, along with IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu, paid homage to the bust of the Father of the Nation, the Telangana CMO said.

In a post on 'X', it said the CM also paid floral tributes at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, honouring the victims of the atomic bombing during World War II. "He (Revanth Reddy) also visited the Atomic Bomb Dome - an iconic structure that withstood the 1945 blast and now stands as a powerful symbol of peace and resilience," it said. Besides wooing investors, the chief minister, during the week-long Japan visit, sought the cooperation of Japanese agencies for Telangana's development in various sectors.
