A coalition of 15 global technology companies, including Jio Platforms, Anthropic and Ericsson, has announced the formation of the Trusted Tech Alliance (TTA) to promote secure, transparent and resilient digital infrastructure worldwide. The alliance was unveiled at the Munich Security Conference and brings together firms from Africa, Asia, Europe and North America. It aims to establish a shared framework of principles covering the full technology stack — from connectivity and cloud infrastructure to semiconductors, software and artificial intelligence.
Other signatories include Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft, Nokia, Cassava Technologies, Cohere, Hanwha, Nscale, NTT, Rapidus, Saab and SAP.
According to a joint statement, the alliance is built on common commitments to transparency, security, ethical corporate governance and data protection, irrespective of a supplier’s country of origin. The companies said the initiative comes at a time of rapid technological transformation and increasing complexity in global supply chains, which has heightened demand for reliability and trust in digital systems.
TTA members have agreed to five guiding principles that define what it means to develop, deploy and operate technology responsibly. These include operational transparency, secure development practices, independent assessments, strong supply chain oversight and respect for the rule of law.
The alliance also intends to work closely with governments and customers to ensure emerging technologies foster public trust while supporting job creation and economic growth.
Kiran Thomas, CEO of Jio Platforms, said trusted and secure technology is vital for inclusive digital expansion and that collaboration across borders will help strengthen resilience and confidence in next-generation connectivity, cloud and AI ecosystems.
