CPI national secretary Dr K Narayana on Saturday said the US government was hunting down the youth in the name of illegal immigrants in a brutal manner like animals and criminals. He alleged that the Trump administration was acting very viciously in the name of sending back the immigrants and added that a video was released by him by standing in front of the US Congress on Sunday morning. 

 In his video, Narayana alleged that as soon as the Trump administration came to power, it started hunting down illegal immigrants like the animals. "We are not opposed to the deportation of illegal immigrants. The Indian government has also announced that it will take back the Indian immigrants from the US. I am strongly condemning the policy adopted by the Trump administration to send back the immigrants,” he said. 

He said it was condemnable and strongly objectionable that the hunt for the illegal immigrants was carried out by the US government even after a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in the US and held talks with President Donald Trump. The immigrants in The United States did not step on its slim suddenly, he said and added that they had been staying in the US for over a decade.
