Established in 2002, Teegala Krishna Reddy Engineering College (TKREC), affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad and approved by AICTE, New Delhi, has emerged as a centre of quality technical education. Located at Meerpet near L.B. Nagar, the institution’s vibrant 10-acre green campus achieved autonomous status in 2017 and holds an A+ grade accreditation from NAAC. 

Dr. T. Harinath Reddy, Medical Professional and Secretary of TKREC, believes engineers are essential contributors to nation building, creating innovative technologies that make human life more comfortable, secure and productive. He encourages students to develop independent thinking and question information rather than accept it blindly. 

Treasurer Mr. T. Amarnath Reddy emphasizes developing a global outlook among students to meet the challenges of rapidly changing technologies. With innovation as its guiding philosophy, TKREC ensures that ideas move beyond discussions and become practical achievements. 

Under the leadership of Chairman Sri Teegala Krishna Reddy, former Mayor of Hyderabad, Ex-Chairman of HUDA and former MLA of Maheshwaram Constituency, Ranga Reddy District, the college continues to strengthen academic and ethical foundations. 

Offering UG programmes in CSE, CSE (AI&ML), CSE (Data Science), IT, ECE, EEE and Civil; PG programmes including M.Tech-P.E, M.Tech CSE and MBA; and Diploma courses in CSE, ECE, EEE, Civil and Mechanical, TKREC has 350+ faculty members, 50+ Ph.D faculty, 100+ pursuing Ph.D scholars and 80+ technical and supporting staff.  Its academic roadmap develops students progressively, from foundational skills in the first year to core knowledge, internships, entrepreneurship and global career readiness by the final year.
