Air connectivity in Andhra Pradesh is witnessing steady expansion, with new flight services being introduced on high-demand routes across the state. In the latest development, three additional daily flights between Rajahmundry and Hyderabad are set to commence operations from March 29, further easing travel for passengers.
The new services will be operated by Fly 91 Airlines, which has stepped in to cater to the growing passenger demand on this busy route. With increasing traffic between Rajahmundry and Hyderabad, the move is expected to significantly enhance travel convenience and reduce waiting time for flyers.
According to the schedule, the new flights will depart from Rajahmundry at 9:15 AM, 1:05 PM, and 9:05 PM daily. The addition of these services will provide passengers with greater flexibility in planning their journeys, particularly benefiting business travellers and frequent flyers.
At present, Rajahmundry airport operates five flights to Hyderabad, along with one flight each to Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai. With the introduction of these three new services, the total number of flights on the Hyderabad route will see a substantial increase, reflecting the rising demand for air travel in the region.
Officials noted that the expansion aligns with the broader trend of improving air connectivity across Andhra Pradesh.
