TGSPDCL Chairman and Managing Director Jitesh V. Patil has directed officials to ensure uninterrupted, reliable and quality power supply across Telangana while improving consumer services through greater accountability at the field level. The instructions were issued during a video conference with officials from all zones, circles and divisions on Wednesday.

Reviewing power supply, consumer services, revenue collection, network strengthening, safety measures, agricultural power supply, solar connections and pending works, the CMD asked officials to spend more time in the field and resolve consumer complaints without delay. He said uninterrupted electricity is essential for government offices, schools, hospitals, Anganwadi centres, industries and the agriculture sector.

Patil directed officials to complete all pending electricity connections for Anganwadi centres across TGSPDCL's 21 circles at the earliest and warned of strict action against negligence or unnecessary delays. He also instructed officials to clear pending agricultural and commercial power connection applications, speed up revenue collection, curb power theft and complete digital network mapping and substation modernisation.

With the monsoon underway, officials were told to strengthen feeder inspections, transformer maintenance, tree branch trimming and other preventive measures to avoid disruptions and electrical accidents. They were also asked to speed up solar connection registrations and improve consumer outreach through media and official social media platforms. The CMD fixed August 10 as the deadline for completing all pending works and warned that officials failing to achieve the targets would face administrative action.
