52 employees of an IT company spend a night-out in the wilderness

For many of the IT employees of Micron, this Saturday was different in more ways than one. Camping out in the wild in tents and gazing at the stars took them back to childhood days. Thanks to the Telangana Forest Development Corporation, the "Rock Bay Nature Camp" at Forestrek Park under the brand name of "Deccan Woods & Trails" and organized Nature Camp at Forestrek Park, Hyderabad, it was a memory that will remain for a long time.

The camp was loaded with activities and fun. Team building activities were conducted which was followed by a trek to prehistoric Mesolithic rock art paintings. What is more! The participants were taught to pitch tents and unwound at the bonfire. Project manager K Suman said, “Participants learn a great deal on bonding and learning skills. After the dinner, a nocturnal walk was a highlight as people leave behind all worries and stroll in nature.”

On Sunday morning, the members were taken on a bird walk and were provided binoculars to identity the birds. Bird-walk brochures helped the trekkers. Breakfast was a healthy and millet based. Executive Director, Eco-Tourism Ranjeet Nayak IFS said that "TGFDC will be organising the Nature camps and a fully established camp site is ready to the nature lovers. Schools and colleges too can participate.
