The temple town of Tadipatri in Anantapur district is poised for a transformation in tourism, announced J.C. Prabhakar Reddy, former Chairman of the Tadipatri Municipal Council. He revealed that a preliminary report for comprehensive tourism development, estimated at Rs 250 crore, has been finalized. This document will be submitted by the State Government to the Union Government for final funding and implementation.

Speaking to the press, Prabhakar Reddy stated that the proposed "Tadipatri Temple Tourism Circuit" is designed with the Sri Bugga Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple and the Sri Chintala Venkataramana Swamy Temple as its cultural anchors.  Key highlights of the proposal include installation of a state-of-the-art sound and light show at the Sri Bugga Ramalingeswara shrine, laser projection feature near the Venkataramana Swamy temple and establishment of an archaeological department exhibition hall and a religious convention hall.

Tourism expert and historian MyNaa Swamy, who drafted the preliminary report, emphasized that the "Tourism Circuit" will catalyze a radical shift in the town’s landscape. "Beyond the preservation of our heritage, this initiative is designed to trigger rapid economic development for the local community," he noted. MyNaa Swamy expressed his gratitude to J.C. Prabhakar Reddy and MLA J.C. Asmit Reddy for the opportunity to draft the strategic vision for the circuit. The event saw the participation of Temple Committee President Chandra Mohan, historical researcher Penukonda Sridhar, temple priests and other local dignitaries.
