Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar is set to attend and spearhead grand Sri Rama Navami celebrations, with arrangements for 25,000 devotees at Sri Mahashakti Temple. Featuring LED screens, elaborate décor, and mass feeding, the event aims to replicate Bhadrachalam’s iconic celestial wedding. The minister calls upon devotees to participate in large numbers for the celebrations.

In the Telugu states, the mention of Sri Rama Navami celebrations immediately brings Bhadrachalam to mind, where the celestial wedding of Lord Sita Ramachandra Swamy is conducted with great splendour. Every year, thousands of devotees travel there, enduring the heat, to witness the sacred ceremony in person. Now, following the tradition of Bhadrachalam, Karimnagar is emerging as a new venue for hosting similar grand celebrations.

With the blessings of Sri Sri Sri Vidyaranya Bharati Swamiji of the Hampi Peetham, the Sri Mahashakti Temple, where the three goddesses are enshrined, is being beautifully adorned for the occasion.

Devotees attending the ceremony will receive talambralu along with blessings from Vedic scholars. The wedding rituals are scheduled to begin at 9 AM, and priests will explain each stage of the ceremony in a simple and understandable manner. Devotional music performances will also be held intermittently, adding to the spiritual atmosphere.

The Sri Mahashakti Temple is being elegantly decorated for the Sita Rama Kalyanam with a rich variety of flowers. The entire temple is being enhanced with vibrant floral arrangements and illuminated with decorative lighting, creating a festive and divine ambiance. A spacious wedding pavilion has been set up and tastefully decorated for the occasion.
