Telangana Police Sports Fest continues with enthusiasm

The second day of the 4th Telangana State Police Sports & Games Meet–2026 continued with high energy at the Parade Grounds in Cyberabad. Hundreds of police personnel from districts, zones, commissionerates, and special units across the state showcased their sporting skills in various competitions.

Athletics, volleyball, kabaddi, and team events drew wide participation from both male and female officers, with women police personnel emerging as a notable highlight. Officials said the games not only foster physical fitness but also build mental resilience and strengthen team spirit.

A healthy competitive environment prevailed among the different units, with the sports grounds buzzing with enthusiasm throughout the day. Authorities emphasized that the festival aims to promote a strong sports culture within the Telangana Police. The events are scheduled to continue through Saturday.
